The LHP 265 is an advanced DSP based lightweight Medium Power HF SSB manpack radio. It provides a complete solution to the short range communication requirements in the crowded HF band.
The LHP 265 provides Voice, Data, Telegraphy and Flash message communication. Communication reliability is improved by means of Automatic link establishment (BEST CALL), which enable real-time selection of optimum channel frequency. For reliable transmission of critical under EW condition, the radio provides digital secure transmission.

The Radio Set LUP 322 is a fully solid-state, light weight, high performance V/UHF transreceiver designed for ground-to-ground and ground-to-air communications. It thoroughly complies with existing VHF, UHF and V/UHF transreceiver standards.

16 channels can be field programmed into memory bank A and 16 other channels into memory bank B. A push to read switch will illuminate the LED display. To prevent unauthorized corruption of pre-programmed frequencies, a switch is provided.
The pre-programmed channels can be recalled but unauthorized re-programming is prevented. The radio set operates from 24 V Ni-cad battery. The Manpack Satcom Terminal can operate in Full Ku-Band frequency range on any transponder of INSAT/GSAT Series Satellite and provides Voice, Data & Video services.
The Transportable Satellite Terminal (TST) is a motorized auto tracking Satcom terminal intended primarily for vehicle based application.
SOTM stands for Satcom On The Move Terminal. It works in S Band frequency spectrum. The system consist of a 2 axis Stabilization Platform to establish a continuous communication through satellite and maintain that communication while the vehicle is moving at different speeds and different terrains. The System works with GSAT-6 satellite and provides Voice, Data & SMS services.
UHF Radio Relay is a digital communication equipment that provides fast, reliable and secure communication links for military applications. It can operate in a fixed frequency mode or in two different hopping modes; conventional and adaptive. The transmission security in the network is increased considerably by the use of frequency hopping techniques.
The radio is provided with ECM protection. To avoid interference from / to other communication equipment, up to 20 sub-bands can be programmed as forbidden bands. The conventional and adaptive modes of frequency hopping may be combined with high, low, manual control power modes. The transmission thus achieved is highly resistant to high-power pulsed jamming and immune to partial band jamming.
The radio has two special test functions; BITE and LOOP tests. The BITE (Built-in Test Equipment) is a function that continuously monitors levels and values at critical test points. The operator uses the LOOP test to check functions of the equipment.
Point to Point radio works in the microwave frequency range. It is full duplex communication equipment, designed to operate as a multi-channel radio through line-of-sight radio path, for military use. Various kinds of data interface is provided viz. E1( upto n=16), E3, V.35 and LAN which is available on Line Termination Box (LTB), that would be connected to IDU. The radio is provided with an Engineering Order Wire (EOW) service. The equipment is modular in construction for ease of maintenance and repair. The radio comprise of two units viz. In Door Unit (IDU) and Out Door Unit (ODU).The IDU is 19 inches rack mountable, modular in construction and designed for shelter based tactical applications. ODU is mast mounted and of rugged design.
The equipment can operate both in Fixed Frequency (FF) mode and in Frequency Hopping (FH) mode. In FH mode, hop rate is 600 hops/sec for user data rate of 2Mbps and 8Mbps. The radio power output can be set in one of the three modes: Low Power (LOW) mode or High power (HIGH) mode or Automatic (AUTO) power mode. The equipment is designed to operate from a 230V AC supply with automatic transfer to a 24V DC supply in the event of mains failure using FCBC unit.

Digital Inter Communication System is a state of art equipment meant for intercommunication of crew members of Armoured fighting vehicles. It can provide interface support for accessing of radio sets by many crew members at the same time. It also supports for exchanging of digital data files from one crew member to other crew member through serial link. Data communication with other vehicles over Radio sets is also possible.
The basic system components are
The operation of the Digital Intercom System (DIS) is controlled from the Central Unit (CU) whereas all the Crewmember units (CMU) provide user interface functionality. CMU's work as User terminals and all the functions and features of voice and data connections, selecting the requested operator. The requested party receives a call by an indication on the CMU. The called person can reject or accept the call. If the call is accepted the system automatically establishes a connection between the parties and simultaneously removes them from the "INTERCOM" conference. When the call is rejected the calling party will be informed by a red LED on the CMU.
Tank Intercom System, R-174 Mk-II, is meant for Intercommunication between crew members of a Tank. This can also be used for communication between the crew member of a tank with the crew member of other Tank through Radio. The system is designed for compatibility with Radio Sets R-173, CNR, STARS-V and TADIRAN.
Semi-Ruggedised Automatic Exchange (SRAX MK II) Equipment is an Automatic Telephone exchange.
Designed to meet the communication requirement of an Army unit/ formation. The equipment supports 512 ports consisting of POTS,ISDN and Trunks in its base unit. The capacity can be expanded by 600 ports using Expansion unit.
It is based on digital stored program control technology with time switching concept and is completely non-blocking.
This exchange is having latest features like ISDN ports and E1 trunks. It supports 240 subscriber ports out of which 64 ports can be configured for POTS, LD, RD & CO. Remaining ports can be used as POTS. This also has 30 ISDN ports.
In addition to above, all critical elements of the eqpt such as switching matrix, control processor are duplicated to provide redundancy. Also distributed power supply schemes is used. Modular concept has been used for ease of maintenance and system capacity enhancement.
For Man Machine Interface (MMI), a laptop PC with Win NT operating system(OS) is used. Besides MMI, Operator Console wit LCD displays are also provided.
The SRAX MK II is portable and designed for vehicle mounting.
Unit Level Switch board MK-III(ULSB MK-III) is a state-of-the-art automatic telephone exchange designed to meet the communication requirements of Army at unit level.

This exchange is having latest features like ISDN ports and E1 trunks. It supports 24 POTS, 08 Magneto, 08 ISDN subscriber ports. It has connectivity to other Switches and networks (ASCON, AREN) through Analogue Trunks viz. LD/ E&M and CO and digital trunks E1 (QSIG and CAS MFR2). It works both as Local and Transit Exchange. A Keyboard, LCD display and Head Set is provided as User friendly Operator Console to handle various operator features. A LAN port is provided to connect a Laptop PC(with Windows) to work as MMI for system administration.

The MSS Network consists of Briefcase Terminals and MSS Hub which provides central control for the Briefcase terminals operating in SCPC DAMA mode. It allocates the resources to the terminals on demand. The network supports voice & data and can be integrated to the existing networks through EPABX (E1, IP or PSTN lines)
The deployment overview of the satellite Network consists of NCMS & briefcase terminals. NMS is meant for secure VSAT network that will be configured for Star topology. It follows an architecture that makes it independent of frequency bands. Overall network security is of prime concern. Its design is on the assumption that majority of the traffic will be thin route following Poisson distribution. This traffic distribution is best served by the circuit switched network and therefore, SCPC DAMA philosophy has been adopted.NMS system uses Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) for multiple traffic channels and Slotted Aloha for Resource Reservation. This scheme gives fairly good advantage in terms of satellite bandwidth utilization over the pre-assigned connectivity.
Multi Layer Communication System referred as DMRR / MCT when deployed in the tactical defence network will provide last mile access connectivity to remote subscriber over radio/satcom/fiberlink via NLDSP point of presence.
The Network of Transportable Static/ Mobile Terminal provides communication media for transfer of fail-safe, error free, secured voice, video and real time data in point-to-point / point-to-multipoint mode from any location to any location.
